One season, 7 paintings, 7 lines of clothing: just a few words are needed to describe in broad outline the fundamental
concept of Aventures des Toiles.

An open window to the inner world of the artist, each painting is a source of inspiration rather than a model. Never just
copied, it fuses with the garment to give birth to a new and independent creation.

At the beginning, the painting is chosen for its visual universe, its identity and its dominant colours. The creative team
allows itself to soak up the full effects. Lines and colours are reinterpreted by a successive choice of materials, forms
and prints. From an entire painting, sometimes just one motif is used, drawn out from the canvas like a thread off a reel.
Alternatively, it is the colours that free themselves of the shackles of the form to invade the fabric and become a new
backcloth. Much more than a simple imitation, this breaking down of the painting enables it to be reformed in all its
richness and uniqueness.

Once released from the imagination of the stylists at Aventures des Toiles, the garment is subjected to the trials of the real world in the hands of designers and prototypists. Forms and colours are transferred onto paper and then passed
into the expert hands of the couturiers. Very soon, the garment is ready to be worn: passing from the world of art to
the world of the living, in active 3D!
